Proven Performance in Critical Environments
From the harsh vibration of automotive chassis to the strict space constraints of wearable IoT, our components are engineered for specific environmental stresses.

Automotive Electronics
High-vibration, high-temperature shielding solutions for ADAS, infotainment, and ECU modules requiring IATF-16949 compliance.
The Challenge
Extreme vibration profiles cause standard shield cans to detach from PCBs over the vehicle lifecycle.
POCONS Solution
POCONS Micro SMT Shield Clips provide independent retention force, decoupling board flex from the shield can.

Telecom & 5G Infrastructure
Multi-cavity RF isolation for dense base station and small cell architectures operating at high frequencies.
The Challenge
Crosstalk between densely packed RF transceivers leads to signal degradation.
POCONS Solution
Custom multi-cavity shield cans with internal dividing walls offer superior isolation within a single SMT footprint.

Medical Devices
Reliable grounding and shielding for sensitive diagnostic equipment and wearable medical tech.
The Challenge
Strict emission regulations require zero compromise on EMI leakage.
POCONS Solution
Precision spring contacts ensure consistent grounding paths with nickel-silver plating for long-term reliability.

Consumer Electronics
Low-profile shielding for smartphones, IoT devices, and wearables where z-height is severely constrained.
The Challenge
Traditional two-piece shields consume too much vertical space in slim devices.
POCONS Solution
Ultra-low profile one-piece drawn shields manufactured with .10mm material thickness.
Application Engineering FAQs
What material is best for high-corrosion environments?
Nickel-silver is universally recommended for high moisture or corrosive environments. Unlike tin-plated steel, which can rust if the plating is scratched, nickel-silver is intrinsically corrosion-resistant throughout the material.
How do I solve vibration issues causing shields to detach?
For extreme vibration profiles (e.g. automotive ECU), we recommend using our Micro SMT Shield Clips. They decouple board flex and vibration from the shield can, ensuring the solder joint is not fatigued over time.
Can you provide custom multi-cavity shields for telecom applications?
Yes, our engineering team routinely designs single-piece and two-piece shields with internal dividing walls to isolate multiple RF components on dense telecom layouts.
